# About The Benevity Giving API

The Benevity Giving API allows you to offer tax effective giving to more than 1 million causes world wide, we currently offer two donation types:

  • Postpaid Donations - Postpaid donations that are processed monthly by Benevity into a donation report that is provided to your company for payment
  • Prepaid Donations - Prepaid donations are paid for immediately using an online payment method.
